Over and over and over again I've been asked to make a base-making tutorial. I started with a hair tutorial from requests, this is my second tutorial on how I make bases.
This particular base was a remake, an upgrade (almost completely different line art) from an older base of mine called the Rosie Base of a woman lying on her stomach, propped up on her elbows, feet on the ground (mostly). It was awarded Base of the Month at two separate Pixel Forums, my first time recieving the award. (I also recieved another doll of the month award, another first that month, but that is a separate creation.) I called it rebase and decided to map my progress, since people wanted to see it.
Here you have my pallette and my technique, which looks much easier than it is.
